BBC World News presenter and anchor, Lucy Hockings, will be joining the Seatrade Cruise Med Conference, which takes place this September in Lisbon, Portugal.
The anchorwoman, who has interviewed global opinion leaders and influencers and covered some of the major news events of the past decade, will put her skills into action as moderator for the State of the Industry panel on Day 1 and the Upscale Market session on Day 2 of the high profile cruise event from September 19-20, 2018.
‘The addition of this talented journalist to the programme is testament to the calibre of discussion that will be had during these two days,’ said Mary Bond, director of publishing & content for event organiser Seatrade.
The state of the industry session brings together some of Europe’s most senior cruise line executives as well as the president of MedCruise, representing more than 100 cruise ports around the Mediterranean. Lucy will moderate the discussion covering key issues facing the cruise market and including challenges as well as the opportunities.
